We’re excited to announce that our early career researcher, Dr Bryan Gao, has been awarded the EMCA Travel Award (School of Biomedical Sciences, the University of Melbourne) to present his research at the 2025 MPS World Summit in Brussels, Belgium!

Bryan has been working on developing a microfluidic pump to better emulate physiological conditions in human cell culture, and this grant is a recognition of the outstanding contributions he’s making in the field of Microphysiological Systems. Presenting at such a renowned international conference is an incredible opportunity to share his insights with the global scientific community.

We’re incredibly proud of Bryan and wish him the best as he prepares for the conference. This is just the beginning of even more exciting milestones in his career!
