Thrilled to share that Xiaodan Zhang and the team at the ARC Centre for Personalised Therapeutics Technologies working in collaboration with the Biological Optical Microscopy Platform (BOMP) and the Melbourne Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Facility, have published a groundbreaking paper titled, “Nutritionally physiological cell culture medium and 3D culture influence breast tumour proteomics and anti-cancer drug effectiveness”, in Pharmacological Research!
This remarkable achievement is part of the ongoing innovative research at the ARC CPTT. The study demonstrates that medium composition and dimensionality of culture influence cell protein profiles, drug potency and affect cell proliferation in vitro.
A huge congratulations to Emma and everyone involved for this success! This milestone highlights the cutting-edge work being done at the centre to advance microphysiological systems.
