Research Profile
Dr. Ziqiu Tong’s PhD thesis focussed on the development of novel adhesion and migration microfluidic-based assays for cancer research. From 2012 till 2014, Ziqiu Tong was a post-doctoral fellow at Institute for Bioengineering of Catalonia, Barcelona, Spain where he developed an in vitro microfluidic model for neuromuscular junction formation as well as the development of microfluidic based axotomy model. He worked as a research associate in Future Industry Institute at University of South Australia working on developing a high throughput microfluidic based screening platform for nanoparticle toxicity assessment from June 2015 to Feb 2017. He has recently joined Monash University in Parkville campus for continuation of the development of nanotoxicity screening platform.
