Research Profile
Tina Cheng brings a wealth of biomedical and cancer research experience as well as pharmaceutical industry knowledge to her position as ARC ICHDR PhD Candidate.
She completed her Master of Science (Cancer) in 2013 at University College London. There she completed an investigation of functions of cetuximab in colorectal cancer. Other laboratory experience includes “Investigation of tumor suppressive function of Catenin Inhibitory Domain in Adenomatous polyposis coli and its cooperation proteins in Colorectal Cancer” (Hans Clevers’ Lab) at the prestigious Hubrecht Institute, Utrecht, Netherland.
Most recently she has worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medial Advisor (Merck Serono Co., Ltd. Beijing), where she supported clinical trials for cancer drugs by reviewing study protocols, trial management, clinical study reports and publication development.
